Pasadena and the tale of two cities
I’m sitting at a terminal of Southwest Airlines in the PHX airport and was searching for a chiropractor for someone in California.
Showing how easy things could be done I headed out to do a search for Pasadena Chiropractor. I found the results I was searching for but I noticed there was also a Pasadena in Texas. How many other cities in the US are duplicated and does someone searching typically consider that? I’m thinking not and would bet that someone seeking a DC in Texas will not search Pasadena Texas Chiropractor and instead would search without the state information.
Search engines are smart and getting smarter but I’m wondering how long it will be before results are determined by location. If I was in Texas for example and searching for a chiropractor would I get the Texas Chiropractic results first and then receive other state options after that?
It’s a tale of two cities.
